We thank God in all things, knowing that His timing is perfect for each of us. While our heartfelt love goes out to Barry's family and personal sorrow is experienced by all whose lives have been touched by Barry, we also rejoice at his victory in homecoming. I pray that this early nineteenth century verse I read for the fist time today shortly before hearing of Barry's death, proves to be a widow's comfort.
"Goodbye Beloved - A Short Godbye
Twill not be long we too should die.
What then the bright forevermore
We'll meet on the eternal shore."
Our sincerest condolences to the extended family.

Condolence messages are often difficult to write, but this is not true in Barry's case.
A true man of God, his videos have blessed my wife and I with his insight, passion and obvious love of Jesus.
He will be missed but only for a short while until we meet again.

In disbelief I heard the news today abot Barry Smith's passing away. It was only a few weeks ago that I had the pleasure of Hearing him Preach at Revival life centre and he hadnt aged at all since I last saw him in 1999. I thank the lord for the incredible blessing this mans life was on the world and personally on my life through his spreading of the gospel.Barry Smith will always be remembered by me as the preacher with the most
powerful call to salvation I have ever herd.
To you his family - I rejoice with you in the knowledge that his salvation is secure but my heart also goes out to you for your loss.
GOD BLESS YOU.

I know you will miss him, for you know more than all, what a wonderful man he is.
We can be so thankful for the time the Lord gave him here on earth.
Please know how much my heart goes out to you, his family.

Dear May and family,
What a privilege we feel to have been able to see Barry preach, a great servant for God. His gift has helped us come to know our Saviour. We pray that you are filled with the peace that comes only from our Lord Jesus at this time.

Dear May and family,
Our deepest sympathies go out to you all at this sad time of Barry`s passing. We were both saved through Barry`s meetings, with his wonderful way of explaining Jesus love and everlasting gift of life. His extensive knowledge of the Bible and his humour are the two things that stood out for us. We will always remember his last visit to Sydney where our eldest children came to the Lord. The Lord gave Barry a very special gift, and he chose to use it and give so many other people the opportunity to get to know Jesus. He has done well.
You are all in our hearts and in our prayers

Dear May and the family
I heard yesterday of the sad news that Barry passed away. I know for him it is not sad news as he is now with his saviour and Lord, but it must be hard for you all.
Everyone here in Northampton still remembers the fantastic time we had a year and a half ago when you came with Barry to minister. We loved Barry's sense of humour whilst takling such major issues. He will be missed by the body of Christ worldwide.
We pray that God will enable the ministry to continue through many others. May God comfort you all.
God bless you
Gareth

well, a great man of God-will be missed greatly.
you can be comforted by the sure knowledge that Barry has lived the life of a true disciple and is now in the preasence of the Lord.
We must examine our own lives and get right with the Lord and live fully for Him.
The Lord says "WELCOME HOME THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT-ENTER NOW INTO THE JOY OF THE LORD"
God bless . Peace.

Dear May, Andrew, Sas & family,
Having known you all since 1993 when Barry and the family came to Bridgend, I can say on behalf of Wales thatwe miss you greatly. We recall the times of fellowship, meals and the trip to Aberfan - all brought us lovely memories. Above all was Barry's uncompromising preaching and no nonsense style of delivery.
We loved his humour and bible exposition. People still talk about the Warnings he gave whilst here in Wales.
We bless you all and we mourn with you - love and peace from Chris and Linda South Wales.

I have just learned of this through my email. It comes as quite a shock to me. Barry Smith's books have been a great blessing to me and my friends. A faithful man of God.
I used to be good friends with one of Barry Smith's nephews here in Sydney, Aus. He loved his uncle Barry a lot. God bless you bro.
And God bless the rest of the family through this time.

How sad it is that we often don't tell people how much they mean to us until it is too late....I was lead to the Lord through one of Barry's books, 13 years ago...Barry's fruit is not just those who he has revealed the Savior too but it goes on in us who are left behind to be ever-increasing branches. He was so loved by so many...another great man of God gone to receive his WELL DONE!!! May God's strength and blessing be with the family and may you know God's joy in your time of mourning.

My prayers and deepest thoughts of sympathy, comfort and love go out to you May and your loving family at this time. You are truely a blessing to us all.
I too am a soul that was saved by Barry's ministry some 15 or so years ago. He reached me at a time when I had no hope in life....I don't know where I would be right now if I didn't have Christ in my life? So...Thanks Barry for keeping the faith and standing up time and again for what you believe in - you are an inspiration and you made a real difference in my life.
I will miss you greatly Barry....Love Esther

To the Smith Family,
I am so sorry and yet I am glad — so sure was his “salvation” — at home he is!
But, I am so disappointed!
Just as things begin to heat up here on earth, God has taken our loved "Saint". I am going to miss his genuine personality, his God fearing love, that vibrant voice that spoke of “urgency” in these last days; and most importantly; his glowing joy when folks accepted Our Lord Jesus at his "gospel calling" -- there were thousands!
Paul wrote in the New Testament that a group of Christians were saddened because they knew that — they would “see his face no more”. I’m sure Paul should have added something extra there in his writing. So I will add them here for Barry, “see his face no more, — for a little while!”
Right now, Barry will have many answered questions, and how he’d love to share them with us through “Omega Times”! — I pray that Our Lord still ministers to us through it.
No; Barry wasn’t a Prophet, just a godly man with a God given “Insight”.
Sadly missed, but I’ll hug you (as will many others) with tears and joy in yours, mine and above all, God’s Glory!
A Good-bye with sadness (for a little while),
And thank you Lord for a Great man,
With Godly Love I give you all my sympathies
Regards,
John

What an amazing man, my sister got saved recently at Celebration Centre in Christchurch, due to hearing Barry. Her salvation was an answer to many prayers especially by her daughter Cheree Ormond. I was only used as the transport person to get her there and Praise God due to Cherees faithful prayers and Barrys amazing ministry she is now listed in the Book of Life. My sincere thanks to Barry and his family for allowing him to have the ministry that would have often taken him away from home. God Bless you all

We will be richer for knowing him, his precious lessons will be remembered.
Thank you Lord for puttingUncle Barry in our path.
May God give you all strength at this time.
