The most important ministry of this man was that he loved and believed the King James Bible, which he always exalted. May God bless his family in this hour of glory. Julio.

Dear Family of Barry,
I listened to Barry in Cornwall Three weeks ago. He was like a big signpost for Jesus, never pointing to himself. I loved his humour, he shared so much about you all that I feel I have almost met you, he was so proud of his family.
God Bless you all and comfort you, until your family is reunited.

May Smith and family.
My wife and I thankfully had the great privilege of hearing Barry preach during our churches annual conference here in Yate,Bristol,UK just over 3 weeks ago and over the course of the 4 nights we found him to be the most wonderfully humble man with such a loving heart. The love, which he continually expressed, for his family and for Jesus has had a big impact on my families lives and no doubt to many many other lives throughtout the world.
We thank God for this special man and live with the happy thought that one day we will meet again.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
God bless you all.

To all the Smith Family,
I didn't have the privilege of meeting with Barry but through videos, tapes, the Omega Times and books, I saw a man who was surrendered to Jesus and dedicated to the work God had called him too. The information he gleaned on the days in which we live was instrumental in unfolding to me the reality of life today. He opened a door where we all could see the deception that Satan is involved in, opening our eyes to a world hidden but hugely active behind the scenes. I truly believe that all heaven applauded when this servant of the Lord entered the gates! Having lost my own dearly loved Christian Dad a short time ago, I can empathise with you in the loss of Barry's presence with you. Thank God that he ran the race alloted to him and will reap his reward with the Father and those who have gone before.
I pray that the tangible presence of Jesus will be with you in your season of grief and joy and that He will undertake for you all in the days ahead.
With love and thanks for being such a united family - God bless you!
Annie Sledge, Devizes, UK.

Hello, im 17 and come from cardiff, wales.
Just like u to know.. (without being to presumptious) that Mr Smith made a huge impact in my life (and many others that i know) in a way that highligted the distress of this world while pointing to the Lord who is our bread when we are hungry. I just mean this as a thanks in any way that u have helped Mr Smith and to encourage u to reckon that the eternity ahead is plenty of time to make up with the loss of time spent with him because he was out fishing so much, i thank God for him and will pray for the peace of God to guard u in this time

Dear May, Andrew and family
I know that I am not the first to express my sincerest condolences at the recent departure of our dear friend and brother in Christ, Barry Smith, and I am sure I won’t be the last, but like many others I would not be as strong in the Lord if I had not encountered his wonderful ministry work.
Barry’s videos, books, and meetings have helped me tremendously in not only building a better relationship with God, but they have also enabled me to witness to others.
I enjoyed Barry’s rare gift of blending his no-nonsense, hard-hitting serious world facts with warmth & humour, as he shared with us the many wonderful things God had done in his life, which were always confirmed in the Word of God.
In contrast to television evangelists, Barry had no fancy gimmicks or big entourage at his meetings, just his large Time-line banner that he would stretch across the width of the hall he was ministering in, finishing up with a chorus of Amazing Grace as he invited the unsaved to take the ‘sawdust trail’ to eternal life.
Although I only met Barry twice, I was genuinely inspired by his unquenchable zeal to serve God, and touched by his over-abundance of humility.
Barry’s talks were different from most as his meetings were dutifully attended by ‘Smithites’ with their 3 main components, notebook, pen and a version of the Holy Bible (not just any version - the King James)
The ‘enemy’ will not stop now that Barry has gone to be with the Lord, and therefore neither must we. Most of us have contributed material to Barry on world government issues over the years, and we have sat and listened to his message. Barry has taught us, but now we must teach others, so let us continue to spread the Good News.
There was one other aspect of Barry’s ministry that I genuinely admired, that of the support he received from his family, and in particular, May, and I feel he drew a great deal of strength from that support.
Over time, people have given Barry many titles, and I know he looked upon himself as just a talker, but I know there is one title that truly represented Barry, that of ‘Ambassador for Christ’.
You have completed your work Barry, now enjoy your rest. Revelation 21:4
Yours in Christ
Brian Whyte – London, England
In memory of Barry Smith - (a true Ambassador for Christ)
A man of God, a man of love,
Never failing to seek guidance from above.
A man of courage, a man of belief
And through God’s ministry, he gave us relief
Although Barry’s message was often stark,
He had good reason, ‘don’t take the Mark’!
Despite opposition, Barry did not fail,
As he led people down the ‘sawdust trail’
As his love for God he continually displayed
Countless people have now been saved,
As the Lamb’s Book of Life captured their names
Expounding God’s word from the Bible…King James
Barry was clear and did not mumble,
His greatest strength came from being humble
He wasn’t scared to do what was right
With Jesus beside him, he did ‘fight the Good Fight’
Although it was tough, as he challenged the wrong
He shrugged it off with a Jesus song
He made us aware of the world and the signs
As he dutifully published the Omega Times
We will not forget his passion for souls
Nor his love for the world as he travelled the globe
With only John 3:30 on his mind
His thoughts were only to help mankind
As he showed the world his Final Notice
He didn’t lose sight and kept his focus
Soul after soul he won for God
Driven by his Love for Jesus, our Lord
Don’t be dismayed and set off alarms
For although he is not with us
He is now safe in His arms
Yours in Christ

Dear May, Andrew, Becky, Rachel and family,
Our prayers and condolences go out to you at this moment on the temporary loss of your best friend, husband and father Barry.
We still remember and cherish the moments of fellowship we had with you and Barry when you first moved to Marlborough some years ago, and always appreciated Barry's simple childlike faith, his genuine love for people, and his contagious sense of humour.
May the Lord continue to lead and bless you all with His peace and assurance.
Tom & Yvonne.

When I think of Uncle Barry the following words run through my mind. They are words that are found in II Timothy 4:6-8. I have slightly paraphrased them.
For Uncle Barry has been poured out like a drink offering and the time of his departure has come. He fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith. Finally there is laid up for him the crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteous Judge, will give to him on that Day, and not to him only but also to all who have loved His (The Lord Jesus) appearing.
I feel as if I have lost a patriarch of our family, but I remain with what Uncle Barry has always been to me, a incredible and wonderful example.

To May, Andrew & all family members.
May the peace of God reign in your hearts during this sad moment. However, your husband and Dad has his reward ahead of us all.
It was certainly a great privilege to have been close to Barry in travel and in his unique ministry that obviously blessed thousands of people all over the world.
The memories of visits into the South Pacific will stay with us forever.
I remember in Papua New Guinea when we ministered together and Barry on one evening announced the collapse of the stirling currency in Britain - it happened the very next day and the following night his opening words were "Remember what I said last night - I told you so".
Barry and all the family hold a special part in our hearts during your very effective ministry era.
May the comfort of our God and the blessing of His Holy Spirit uphold you through this time of sorrow and celebration for a life given to the God and creator of this universe for the extension of the Kingdom of God upon the earth.
Yours in His Service as friend and partner evangelising this generation for Jesus.

May, Andrew & all the rest of the Smith family,
Barry's life & ministry was such an inspiration to the Body of Christ in NZ.We honor & salute his life & ministry. He will be sadly missed. However theimpact of many people who have come to know the Lord through his ministry will live on for generations.
His consistency in evangelism & promoting a life of faith, maintaining a close family in the midst of ministry and never losing his sense of humour was a tonic to us all.
May you all know God's comfort & love in this time of loss in a special way.
Much love from
David & Susan Cole + family
