Dear May and family,
My daughter Elizabeth and I travelled to Egypt and Israel with your tour in 1995, I think there were about 71 happy travellers in the group, and you both made us all feel like family, it was a time which changed the direction of the lives of many of us. I remember the large camel you bought in Egypt May, it was a beauty and it took pride of place on the bus, a great time was had by all, Thank you.
Your whole family has had a powerful effect on the lives of countless thousands, Barry's teaching on the raising of children, not kids (see Matt 25.v32-46), and the necessity for uncomprimising family values, together with his many meetings world wide informing the public of the mysteries of circumstances happening in the world around us.
What a wonderful team you have been together, how proud you must be that your Darling Barry remained focussed on the work the Lord gave him to do. When I read on the internet of Barry's Graduation, my first thought was that, 1. He had run the race and his work was completed, and 2. that time is quickly running out for the world as we know it, a warning that it is time for families to quit their petty grievances and accept that people are different, and start to enjoy each others company.
Barry will be missed by many, he was a great man of God, an inspiration to thousands, maybe millions, a remarkable teacher with tremendous integrity, a man of many talents, a lover of life, with many friends and it has been my pleasure to have known both Barry and yourself, probably for 20 years.
You made a wonderful team together May, and I pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort you and your family in this precious time.
Love from Dianne

I received a text message at 3:00am Sydney time Tuesday with the news. My family has been blessed by Barry's ministry for the past 15 years. My father-in-law in Kiev, Ukraine will be deeply sadened but grateful for Barry's bold and Godly stand. To May and the family, we pray that God's strength will be with you. Barry was a great man of God.

To May, family and team
My sympathy and condolences. Barry was a great man, a true friend, I will miss him. I was so sad to hear of his passing - but we know he is in safe hands.
He was always making us smile - one joke after the other, a great sense of humour.
Barry was a great Christian example, a real man of God, he taught me so much. I will remember him always - we will all see him again soon.
Much love to you all
God Bless

Dear May and family,
You do not know me but I wish to send my thoughts and prayers to you and yours at this sad time. Barry did more than you can know. He helped me understand a lot about the end times and through his videos one night on the night shift at a mental hospital my dear friend gave her heart to the Lord Jesus. Barry was a true gift to us to spread the gospel and change lives and now he can rest in the presence of God. All my love to you and all your family.
God Bless you, Val Darwin Australia.

Dear Friends
Sue and I want to express our sincere thanks to all of you for the unselfish and generous way you have shared the gift God gave you in our precious brother Barry with the world.
There has been no other man to date that has had such an incredible Godly influence on the lives of us as a couple and our children. We will never forget the tremendous sense of humour, the wonderful insights afforded him but the most powerful testimony to us was the Love Barry had for His Lord and Saviour and desire to see others brought into the kingdom. We will always treasure in our hearts our trip to Israel and the times riding down the river in the raft(of which Sue still talks about)Dear friends we hold you all in our prayers and give thanks to God for the time we had with Barry. We await with anticipation our reunion in Heaven. Much love to you all. Love Ron & Sue Ings. (Perth, Western Australia)

Dear May, Bec, Andrew, Rachel and family,
Its hard to believe Barry is gone. He was always so full of life and fun. We really appreciate the times up north that we had with him and you all. He was such a fantastic role model as a husband, father and a dedicated servant of The Lord. He was unwavering and enthusiastic about his love for The Lord. He was an inspiration to us. He has left a huge gap in the body of Christ and of course in your lives. We pray that you will receive the fullness of God's grace at this sad time for you. 2 Cor. 1v3. Much love Mike and Anne, Jonathan, Tim, Sam and Chris Porteous

Barry Smith was a great example to me as a preacher that spoke the Word of God with conviction and authority. He impacted my life on the many occasions that he visited Paradise Community Church in South Australia.
Thank you Barry, you will always be an inspiration to me, there should be more like you. I pray that May and the family will be comforted and encouraged, as they know without a shadow of doubt that we shall all meet again one day and enjoy a good chat, I look forward to that day.
May God bless and keep you Smith family
Love in Christ

Barry Smith was an inspiration to me when he came to preach at Penryn, Cornwall about two weeks ago.
Well done Barry for the wonderful example you have made.
I offer my sincere condolences and prayers to his wife May and his family back home. May God bless you.

Barry how we so enjoyed your teachings at Family Harvest church South Africa, what an excitement in the whole congregation when we knew you would be with us. This was not only because of your inspirational teachings, your challenges in living only for CHRIST, your non compromising attitude towards life, and so much more, but simply that we loved you! A friend, a father in the faith and FAMILY was visiting! Thank you for your sincerity, your integrity, and being so much FUN! You will be sorely missed, but we will see you in the presence of our Saviour!
Our thoughts and prayers are with family and friends at home, knowing that the Comforter is ever present.

Dear May and Family,
We were shocked to hear that Barry had been taken suddenly to glory. What a great man. We will be eternally greatful for the tremondous deposit of the word of God and the Godly character that he has imparted, not only to us, but to thousands all around the world.
Our love and prayers are with you, especially for Thursday, and we are sorry that we can not be with you at this time.
God's richest blessing both now and in the future.
Love Graham and Susan

Dear May, Andy, Becky, Rachel and family
We're very saddened to hear of Barry's death. He was one of the best examples of real Christianity we've ever met. The impact he and all of you had on us when we were young Christians and newly married was greater than you could possibly imagine. We know that the first thing he would have heard when passing into eternity was, 'Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord' - and he'll still be rejoicing! The fruit from his life and ministry testifies to this. We know you carry the most wonderful memories of a life that brought glory to God in every way. We love you, and our prayers are with you.

To the Smith Family,
It is with great sadness that I learned of Barry's passing. What a great loss to the world, but we can rejoice that he is with his Father in Heaven. I am so glad that I sat under his ministry, which helped me to understand the End Times teaching. We will miss hearing of his travell's and ministry to the lost.
On behalf of my wife Valerie and myself we send our deepest Sympathy and love to you all.
Harold Dodge.

Our love and prayers go out to May and family at this time of great loss. Barry was always a great inspiration in the way that he used present day events not to underline the seeming hopelessness of the world situation but to use it as a means to reveal Gods'priceless plan of salvation which is the only real hope mankind has.
"He died with his boots on and he ran the course well; facing down and triumphing over the forces of hell; standing firm for our Saviour and for all that is right, he has gone home to glory, having fought the good fight."
Rest now in the Presence of the Lord, until we all meet again! - thanks Barry and thank you Lord for raising him up - he was indeed "Your man for the hour"!

Although we know the day will come for each of us ... some people you think will live forever.
Today I have heard that a fundamental influence of my life has died and although I know that he has gone home to be with the Lord, the news is met with shock and tears. He will be missed the world over!!!
My world was changed forever by his ministry and has again been changed forever by his death. Goodbye Barry.

Over the past 6 years of being a born again Christian, l don't think a day has passed that l have not looked at a news story, through the eyes of Barry. I begun reading his books back in 1986, but it took me nearly 10 years to open that "last page", and make that commitment to Christ. It was actually at one of his meetings on the Gold Coast that l eventually "walked the walk" to the front, to the sounds of Amazing Grace. I must say that right at the present time l'm not walking upright and that his passing has effected me and l realise again now that l must stand tall and push on and hold up those same values l learnt through Barrys books and video's. You were blessed to be with this man of God everyday, and l pray l can show some of his strengths and make a difference to my family, friends and anyone that comes my way.
Blessings to all the Smith clan.
