Dear May, Beckie, Andrew, Rachel & families we were so sorry to hear of Barry's death & pray that God will uphold & comfort you all during this time. We have many great memories of Barry. He was such an encourager & not just a great teacher of end times but also of family values which were also lived out in his life & that of the family. We have always appreciated you all as a wonderful christian family. We also appreciated Barry's wonderful sense of humor. And he is the only person we ever knew who played the organ in his gumboots. We also remember that his definition of the ideal committee was 3 people with 2 away at every meeting. We are very glad that our paths crossed. Our hearts really feel for you as we know his calling home will not be easy. Much love & prayers from us both.

Thank you for sharing with us your wonderful ministry. My mother became a christian at in Pah Road. She was exhilirated by Barry's sermon that night and after many months of hesitation and many years of searchin (mum is 72) she surrendered her life to Jesus and hasn't looked back since.
Barry was so inspirational for our entire family. Since five of 7 of us came to the Lord within the year we have not missed any opportunity to listen to Barry preach. Not only did he pass on our Lord's messag but he also touched us with his warmth and wit. We will miss him deeply.

Dear May, Andrew, Becky, Rachael and families
We are so sorry to hear the news of Barry. Barry and your families have touched so many lives. I thank you particularly for the encouragement you gave in our time in the Sounds.

Our sincere condolences with your family and specially with May. We pray for you and stand by you in faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Barry's Ministry will be sincerely missed by us and we always looked forward to new videos by him. We imagine Barry, at this moment giving that familiar chuckle when he sees all the souls brought into the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ by the Word he brought and the Prophecies interpreted by him. "Well done good and faithfull servant"
Please keep us informed of developments in the Ministry, which we hope will be carried on by Andrew. We would also like to receive The Omega Times.
Please let us know of any prayer requests, we will stand in the gap for you.
We plead the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ over you.
We love you
Yours in Christ Jesus

Dear May.

It only seems like yesterday when I was taken by a friend to hear Barry preach in Derby, England in the early 90's.

What I heard that night disturbed me very much indeed but as the years have gone by I have seen everything that your husband warned me about come to pass.

The Lord has His reasons for taking Barry at this moment but as long as I live I don't think i'll ever meet such a sincere, warm and Christian man as your husband.

May Christ Jesus bless you and your family

We would like to pass on our sincere condolences at your sad loss. We have heard Barry speak many times, both through video, books, Omega Times and in the flesh. We have been very blessed through his ministry and consider him a major authority on explaining God's word relating to end times. We will miss him very much as we know you will. But it is good that we are sure of the fact that we know where he now is - with the Lord. We know very many people were brought to the Lord through him and I'm sure that makes you very proud. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My love and condolences to the Smith Family on the parting of Barry Smith. I read all his books, and enjoyed seeing him at the Assembly of God Church in Hamilton, New Zealand. I always remember his preachings, and have taught my children, who are now grown up, but they often say to me "remember what Barry Smith said Mum" when something significant happens in the world.
He will be sadly missed. Kind Regards Rita

Dear May,

Our heartfelt condolences to you and the Smith Family at the loss of Barry. Earth's loss is truly heaven's gain for Barry was indeed a Kingdom stalwart. His passion for the Word was infectious and his ability to TEACH, especially about the prophectic realm, was truly remarkable. There is no doubt Barry carried a very special anointing and thousands around the world have been blessed as a consequence. Recognition by countries outside NZ remind us that a prophet is not recognised at home just like the Lord wasn't.
The Church here in NZ sadly did not recognise the wonderful anointing that Barry carried. He was well known in South Africa and certainly made the Church take notice of the Scriptures through his
powerful evangelistic teaching ministry.

You may be wondering who we are? We met with Barry and you at an Assembly in Brown's Bay last year and had the privilege to take a photograph with the two of you. I have one just with Barry and count myself privileged to have met him. My family and I ministered in a small family church for about 12 years before emigrating at the beginning of last year. We heard about Barry's ministry whilst he was in Pretoria I think in the mid 90's. We were able to obtain a set of the videos (3) and watched them twice with the full congregation to teach as part of our Bible Studies. We brought the videos with us to NZ. We learn't about you thro' his tapes and he certainly appreciated you. This was very evdient in the tapes we have.

We will continue to uphold you and the Family in prayer.

Christian Greetings,
David & Sylvia

Condolences to all the Smith family.
Have listened to Barry preach for a long time.
He was on fire for the Lord.He used to say what he thought the music would be like in Heaven.
Well he'll know now.
Very sad to hear this great man has gone .
He won't be wondering any longer who the man of sin will be, he'll be talking to the Lord of Heaven personally.
God bless
Ted & Pauline

The father stands arms outstretched wide,
angels gathering at His side,
Heaven's filled with expectation,
heralding a celebration.

A warrior who ran the race,
armed with the Word and zealous faith,
has been called home to his reward,
and stands now in glory with the Lord.

'Well done good and faithful servant'

We will miss you Barry. Thankyou.
