Dearest Family,
It is with great regret that we are finding when visiting the site that the Servant of the Living God Barry Smith is now with His Lord served for many years.

Honestly, i would like to understand your pain but as a Christian, i think that anybody may wish to go like him when serving.

I knew him through his books and i was very amazed of his deep analysis of the end time situation much better than other servants.

May God reconfort you and continue to strenghten you and bless you. We will continue to pray for you but don't give up but continue in the same vision to continue to warn the world that Our Lord is coming very soon.

Dear May and Family
I was previlaged to meet you and your family in Kenya when Barry was preaching.
and I remember him saying once in his evening talks that there is no need to be afarid of death if you are a christian because if you are one its.. "absent from the body and present with the lord"!
May God bless and keep you all till you all meet again.
Eva

Dear May and family,
We have great memories of times shared in Rai Valley. Barry will be greatly missed, but I know he is rejoicing with His Lord. God Bless you and the ministry, and may His loving arms enfold you in the days to come.

Barry Smiths teaching were a main influence in my salvation. As an Aussie non christian I was impressed by his "speak it like it was" manner.
I began to correlate all he was saying about bible prophecy with the world news.
I devoured his books, videos and cassettes.I began to receive the Omega Times in the mid 90's and still look forward to its arrival every month.
I began to lend some of this material to work mates and they were saved.
I on the other hand was a hard nut to crack. Im sure I held the record for being at the most alter calls without making a decision.
Barrys messages challenged me the most because they pulled no punches and were straight to the point. People like me needed to hear speakers like Barry.
Yes you could say Barry Smith scared me into heaven.ButId sat on the fence for long enough and I thank God he did. He will be sadly missed Wolf Joester

The message Barry preached was instrumental in my being saved. In fact, those messages, delivered in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, have made their way to countless homes and individuals. People I've spoken to wish us to say thank-you to Barry and his family for their service to Jesus and to believers and non-believers alike. Even though I never met him here, I know I'll praise Jesus in Heaven with him one day. Thank-you Barry, thanks to you all in the Smith home. From Canada, with love, Rodney and Georgina and kids.

Many fond memories of Barry Smith:
His "ordinariness"
His simple message.
His enthusiasm.
The quality of his new information.

Once, on his flight home, he had to touch down in Perth. News of this spread like wildfire and he
preached (that evening) an "unscheduled" message to a crowd of 200-300! who, like him, had dropped tools and answered the call. What a message that was.
Thanks Barry for being so ordinary in an extraordinary way.

Barry Smith came to Cannon Street Memorial Baptist Church in Handsworth, BIRMINGHAM England last May. His two session with us were very fruitful. My brother and I had a very memorable time with him which we will have in our hearts always.

Our condolences goes out to his family and to his agent Steve and Karen Avery.

Let us all continue to spread the gospel whenever a opportunity arises. I'm sure Barry would want us to.

Dear Smith family

I am one of many whose life was touched by Barry's writings and preaching, and the encouragement I have for you is that one day we all will meet Barry in glory and will forever be with our Lord and Saviour. May the Lord richly bless you in this time of temporary loss.

The world is a poorer place without the wonderful Barry Smith, a beacon of light to us all.

The good are always taken before the evil comes.

I hope that his work continues and becomes 1000 times stronger than when he was here.

God bless you and thank you Barry Smith.

Our deepest sympathies to the Smith family.

Barry was the greatest influence which led to my salvation in 1988 with his unique end times ministry and I thank the Lord for him and his obviously caring, supportive family.

May another, or many others take his mantle to continue to bring the end times messages to this dying world, that we may continue to see many others snatched from the flames.

Fellow Christians: many of us have Barry's tapes...SHARE them with family, friends and all.

God bless and to Him be the glory.

He was a good man, and he influenced me a lot. He was the reason my best friend became a Christian. Thanks Barry.
I hope he has been welcomed home with a "well done, my good and faithful servant". And of course, he will be reunited with his daughter. What a wonderful scene that would have been!
Sincerely,
Finella

Our deepest sympathy and condolences to you, the Smith family and especially you, May who have loved and supported Barry in his ministry to so many people. Your sacrifices and unreserved service have made it possible for Barry to minister to such a wide audience. Thank you very much will never be enough.

It was through listening to one of Barry's audios that we first heard of the New World Order agenda. The infomation based on his years of research helped us to see the world in a completely different light since that day.
You cannot imagine the numerous number of lives that have been touched as a result of this.
Thank you Barry.

We pray for the Lord's strength and wisdom to be in each of you during this time.

Love in our most precious Lord, Jesus Christ.
Steve & Linda.

To the Smith Family, in Barry's own words this is not the end only the beginning. I was priveledged to see Barry's ministry in Handsworth, Birmingham, England only last year and his word that night really blessed me. He has his reward now and is with our Heavenly Father.

"to be with HIM is far better"

God bless you Barry and may He be the strength for your wife and family.

Love Simon and Joanne Philpott.

I was sitting here in front of my computer and thought I might pay Barry a visit on the net and see what he thinks about stock exchange trends at this moment in time, when I was struck with shock at his apparent passing to be with our Lord. He was a dear man who I admired greatly. The last time I saw him was at Richmond Assembly of God and he had 'em rolling in the isles, some great memories. He'll always be loved and cherished, both on this earth and in heaven.
God bless you always,Barry.
Condolences to the family.

Today (21/7/02) I learnt of the death of Pastor Barry Smith. I first heard his sermons in 1984 when I was living in Canberra. Whilst some of his preaching sounded a little disturbing, a lot of what he spoke of has indeed come to pass. As always, he simply gave us the information, and allowed us to make up our own minds; also, he never let any chance of preaching salvation in Jesus Christ slip by.
I am grateful for his ministry, and he will be missed by so many christians around the world, as well as by his immediate family.

I have only just heard of the passing of Barry Smith and shocked to say the least. He was a great man who I know from expereince and was a man who delivered a message that is relevant for todays world.

He has served his purpose and fulfilled his calling. I remember him for his warm and kind spirit and I will always remeber him for the picture that he planted in my mind of the warm embrace of Jesus when we see him face to face.

I send hope that his family will be blessed by the amount of messages hosted to the webb sit and I hope that there will be some one to take up the mantle and continue the call.

God bless you

Paul Gordon

PS -To Steve & Karen,
You have done a most wonderful job with him over the past few years. God bless you both !

Dear Smith Family:

"This is not the end – it’s just the beginning."

My condolences to you all. This is a very sad day for me. I was introduced to Barry through his video tapes, and his messages made a serious difference in my life.

What a wonderful and blessed man!

"Blessed are the feet of those that bring the gospel of peace."

You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Your co-worker in Christ,
Michael
