I am truly saddened to know that Pastor Barry Smith has left us, but I still rejoice in the fact that he is now with the presence and joy of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Bro. Barry has had a great impact on my spiritual life with his preachings on endtimes, Bible prophecies and their fulfillment in our time - truly a man of God with the wisdom and boldness from the Holy Spirit. He has influenced us in sharing the Word of God to many people by letting them know what God will do in the last days - through this, many souls are being won for the Lord Jesus Christ!
I am thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ for the ministry He has entrusted to Bro. Barry - surely the Lord has these words to say to him - "Welcome home and well done, my faithful servant..."
In Christ,

>From the Edmonds family.
I am very saddened to hear of Barry's graduation.some how we dont quite expect that The Mighty Men of God won't be always around.. Its all about God. not about what I expect. We will miss Barry, but thank God for a fearless Man who walked in total integrity. Who spoke the Word, in season and out of season, and Loved His Lord with all his heart and soul. To the family may the God of Peace, fill your whole Spirit Soul and Body with His Love and Peace. God Bless You.

Jesus used Barry in a mighty way. To him be the glory! I met Barry last year in Omaha, Nebraska about one month after the 9-11 catastrophe. It was a very emotional time for everyone there. Many came forward and publicly declared their trust in Jesus! I am happy for Barry. He has gone home. AMEN

Our thoughts & prayers have been with you all over these past weeks. Barry's going home to be with our Lord has certainly left a great void here on this earth & in our hearts. It is a bitter sweet time. We can rejoice in the fact that he is now with the Lord he loves so much & yet there is a sadness, I guess for ourselves that he is not still here with us. How much have we appreciated his helping us understand the times in which we are living. His wonderful sense of humour & his humility.
He was one of God's gentleman & the light & beauty of Jesus sure shone brightly through him.

With heartfelt condolonsces to the Smith family. My Dutch-Indonesian brother and sister in Christ introduced us to Barry's books and tapes a few years ago and gave us so many copies that we distributed the extra ones to other people, Christians as well as non-Christians. Christ thru Barry has made a great impact on us and both my husband and I have been walking with the Lord since 1995. We wish all of you much strength with this great loss but just to know that he is with our Lord Jesus make us want to rejoice. Hallelujah!

To all the Smith family,
Barry introduced end time prophecy teaching to many Scottish Christians for the first time. It never ceased to amaze me that so many of his video's and audio tapes circulated around believers in my native Glasgow.
Barry's avuncular style and endearing personality bonded him to his listeners.
I met Barry once in Scotland whilst he was ministering at Oasis in Barrhead. He had ministered for some time yet was happy to chat to the people.
I am so thrilled for Barry that he is with his precious Jesus yet feel for all the family and friends left behind.
Looking forward to our reunion.

To the Smith family,
It makes me sad to know he's gone. I know he has left a legacy & a ministry that has the potential of remaining strong due to the godly influence he exercised over it.
To all the family & staff I offer my deepest feelings of support and comfort. It makes me wish all the more for reunion day, coming soon.
My husband and I count it a great privilege to have heard his teachings. Some of his revelations have impacted me for good.
You will be in our prayers

I heard Barry Smith speak three times at Revival Life Centre, Penshurst in Sydney, in 1997, 2000 and May this year. Each time I went away inspired by what he said.
He had a gift for reaching people's hearts and leading people to Christ. The last time I heard him speak I felt inspired and joyful by the power displayed in his message.
It's sad that he won't be back in two years, but I am comforted by the fact that his words resonate in the minds of thousands of people all around the world.
He was a great man of God, heaven now has many more souls thanks to his work.

Dear Smith Family,
We are grateful for your generosity in sharing wonderful Barry with GodŽs people throughout the world. He was a great teacher-evangelist and a remarkable man of God.
We were touched by his ministry, loving personality and sincere faith while living in Sydney, Australia. His teaching opened up for us a new vision of Bible prophecy as related to current events, organizations, politics, economy, finances, etc. A lot of things which puzzle people began to make sense and fell into place in the light of the Word of God.
We returned to Argentina in 1994 and since then weŽve been sharing his teachings with our friends whether in casual conversations or in Bible studies on end times prophecy. So his work has reached this part of the world as well.
We were so saddened when a friend of us living in Australia gave us the news of his departure.
We send our sincere condolences to his wife May and to all the Smith Family.
Thank you Barry Smith, weŽll see you soon!

I was so deeply saddened by the news of Barry Smith going to be with the Lord... I was inspired by his books and articles in the Omega Times magazine... Praise God that he had the opportunity to touch the lives of soooooo many around the globe, myself included. May his family continue his works with God's full Light shining brightly upon them, and His Holy Spirit Strengthening and Guiding them. In Jesus' Name.

There are so many beautiful messages and the picture of Jesus hugging the man and God inviting you in is so beautiful! Barry held that up at the last meeting at Penshurst and hoped that one day that man would be him. I am sure thats just the way it was.
My husband and I had our first date at Barry's meeting back in 93 at Calvery Chaple and was so glad to have seen him again just this last time.
I have such a good witnessing tool with your tapes and plan to give them to all my non Christian friends.
Thankyou so much.
And sure we all will be seeing Barry when Jesus returns soon.

Pastor Barry Smith came to Ulverstone AOG in March 1984 and Praise God he did.If he hadn't I would have not heard the message of God's love for me and accepted the call to accept him into my life.It saddens and shocks me to hear of his natural death.Praise God he is with The Lord now.
My condolences to Barry's wife and family. He will be greatly missed.
God Bless

Sincere sympathy to the family in the loss of a faithful husband, father and friend.
Barry and May came to the Devonport AOG, Tasmania in 1984 for a week of ministry. I was only able to hear the personal testimony given on Sunday, but soon after listened avidly to all the teaching tapes on end-time prophecy.
I strongly felt the impact of a contemporary message that all people need, but found that so many just don't want to hear it. Bless you Barry and family, for preaching the gospel fully, consistently, and for so long in the face of apathy, hostility, opposition, unbelief, and hardship.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. Ps 116:15
The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Pray you therefore the Lord of the harvest... Matt 9:37-38
