First and foremost, we offer our sincerest condolences to the Smith family.

We would like to say thank you to Barry for his ministry and input into both our lives.
We will miss his teaching and his 'great sense of humour'

We thank God that Barry was such a willing disciple for our Lord. We know he has left a wonderful legacy behind.

Though it is sad Barry is no longer with us, praise God that we'll him meet again in eternity.

Dear Family members, I was channel surfing one day and came accross a video that was being played on public access. Already a Christian, I was hooked to the program. What he was saying was fasanating. I found his web site and ordered some materials. After reading the message on the website, I feel that Mr. Smith was not trying to scare people, but to educate people. The material it self can seem scarry. Think about it. Exposing what the kingdom of darkness is doing can seem scarry. Mr. Smith struck me as a warm and carring person with a very important message. No matter what he was talking about, no matter how frightning it sounded, he always brought it back to the love of Christ and what God has done to save us from what is eventually going to happen. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Thank you for sharing a part of your family with mine. Love, Chris Kosek

We watched Barry's preachings on the God channel UK and through his words of wisdom inspired us to seek the Lord and our saviour Jesus. May God be with you all and all of the followers of Barry's teachings of the bible.

We found your site today. We were saddened to hear of Barry's death, but rejoice in KNOWING that he is with our Father and Lord.
We were introduced to Barry's teaching in the early 80's in South Africa and went to some meetings held in Durban at a later date, where we were privileged to meet him in person and thank him for his obedience. He has had a profound effect on our lives and his books and videos (which we're needing more of!) have helped make so much sense of the goings-on in this world, and drawn us closer to our Lord.
We will fondly remember him as a man who whole-heartedly loved and obeyed his Lord, loved and honoured his precious May and children and passionately shared all he knew to bring as many as possible to the Lord. What LOVE!
God bless you all and give you wisdom as to how to continue in this wonderful ministry.

I am totally shocked as we have lost a truly great man of God. Words cannot do justice to his labour of love for the LORD Jesus Christ. I would not have the foundation I have today had it not been for the gifts of God that flowed through him on a daily basis (I wish I had met him personally nevertheless that will happen when I shall meet him in Glory in the presence of the KING of kings). The LORD has used Barry over and over again to lead countless numbers of people into the Kingdom of God for he has marked a whole generation in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Now more on the Spiritual side according to 1Cor15 except the seed die it cannot multiply so through his death many other strong men shall rise up. As for Barry, he now takes up his position with the saints and prophets of old that have run the race before us and is watching us from Heaven Rom12:1-2. He is now in the joy and holiness of the LORD, no more tears, pain, suffering or sin. He is constantly embraced by the King and still catching up with all of his brothers, sisters in Christ and the angels that served Him.

To his family The Rapture of the Body of Christ is coming soon and Jesus will come again and we shall all be caught up together to meet Him in the air and forever we shall be with the LORD and we shall see Him as He is and you will get to be with your husband/dad/uncle/cousin/grand-dad once again in the presence of the God the Father, the LORD Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit
who is above all and in you all.

Hi... first of all I'd like to thank our Heavenly Father for his guidence upon the Smith family and I'm sorry for the loss of Mr Barry Smith, I was 11 years old when I first met Barry Smith, He preached at my brothers funeral and on that Sunday the 12th of September 1999 I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. It made changes in my life after I accepted Christ and I was really happy that I did, I will always remember Barry Smith from this card that he gave to me and the others that accepted Christ. It's in my bible and thats how I will always remember Barry now I am 14 years old and I will always remember that day I accepted Christ because I still have that freedom since then... God Bless You All..
May the Lord be with May and the kids

My deepest condolances to the Smith family(ies) on your loss. Praise God for our knowledge of the truth of Barry's gain!

Of the thousands of preachers, teachers, and ministers of the gospel, there have been very few who have had a genuine impact on my life to the point where one knows that, truly, this is from The Lord. Barry Smith was one such voice. Truth, good cheer, humor, understanding, Godly wisdom and a higher respect for God's word are a few of the things that I have gained from this ministry.
Unfortunately, I never got to meet Mr. Smith in person, but fortunately, I will make it a point to shake his hand, give him a big hug and thank him one day soon!

Sincerely,

Joseph W. Bologna

Dear Mrs Smith and Family

In this all but short life God gives us a challenge to spread the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ, your Husband and Dad took this challenge to his heart and succeed where many failed.

He spread the Good News with vigor and passion and always with a smile on his face,we thank God he has finally got his great reward.

For you that has been temporary left behind, we pray God's peace on and in your life, and we rejoice in the fact that he has gone before us, and we are sure he is by now comparing notes with all his hero's in the Faith.

May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

Our Love and prayers
Geoff & Ruth Smith

The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little bit extra, Thank you Lord you gave Barry that little extra.

It was sometime in the '80's that I heard Brother Smith for the first and last time. It was in Washington state, USA. I have thought of his message quite often ever since; but have not known how to get in touch with his ministry. It was indeed a 'no nonsense' and straight forward word from the Scriptures. I just found out about his 'graduation' while on the web today under "International Support Ministries."
His legacy will be all of the lives that have been changed by the word that he spoke.
Please let me know how we can get some of his tapes/videos, etc. Thank you kindly!

It is with tears of sadness - and joy - that I just this minute learned of Barry Smith having gone to be with Jesus. Only yesterday I was listening to one of his audio tapes from one of his meetings and using it to witness to a friend.

Barry smith was a true believer who devoted his life to spreading the truth and the Word to all the world and he is a great loss to us all. However, God wanted him with Him now, and as Barry Smith once said, "When you are God, you can do what you like." How many of his words I've remembered!

Condolences and best wishes to the family and thank you for continuing his good work. Also by the way, for showing the beautiful poster on the website which Barry showed in one of his meetings in Brisbane - I never forgot it and always wanted to see it again.

God bless you all - especially now in these last days.

Cynthia

I thank God for having known Bro Barry Smith. He spoke to us here in Nairobi at Nairobi Pentecostal Church. I was trying to describe to a colleague what message he preached and how he liked raising his hand and point with his first finger............ She then told me that he passed on to Glory. May and the Children? The Lord has embraced you with his comfort and strength. Be of good cheer. We love you and support you in prayer.

Am sad to hear that Barry Smith had died. I am always inspired by his zeal for the Lord and spending his life and energy travelling the world telling sin as it is and yet showing love and the way to Jesus. I have bought all his books and lend them to people seeking to be involved with Freemasonry.

May the Lord continue to protect the Smith family from spiritual attacks

I watched many of Barry's videos and read his Better than Nostradamus. Apart from everything else he always made me giggle at some point! So sorry to hear that he's passed away. I had hoped to see him speak at some time but now it's too late but he has left us a lot to think about.

Dear Smith Family,

Barry truely was a special gift from above!! He is the reason why my wife and i are christians today. His legacy will live on even though he has gone home,I remember being so excited at this new information that Barry had armed me with. And as a result was able to lead people to the lord by showing and explaining the Americian dollar bill to them.( I still to this day carry it in my wallet.)through his books and videos he has become a mentor to me,and i look forward to thanking him personally in heaven one day. I know this is a little late and it is more a testomony than a condolence as he truley was a man of God.
