I read 'Final Notice' in 1987/88. I shared what I read with friends, they laughed years later...
they returned and said, 'It's true'.
Barry was and is a visionary that vision has forced me to question everything all over again and watch the developments of this world, each year (now more than ever) I find myslef returning to the book and telling the story all over again.
I'll never be in the dark again and nor will those who chose to listenand witness.
May blessings reign and rain upon your family.

Dear Smith Family,
It is now 4 years since Barry passed away and I just found out. I have been a Christian since 1990 and immediatly after I accepted the Lord I saw a few of his tapes and was moved to study end times. His tapes always make me think of him and how one should articulate the message of God in relationship to the urgency of what the reason for the prophetic is. Today is the day of "salvation" not yesterday. The only good things that yesterday brings is History lessons. I truly bring his name up a lot when ministering because God through him let me understand a lot of current events. Even though I never met him I feel like I really loved Him so much more differently than all the other bretheren. The impact of Gods ministry in Barry will always be greatly appreciated. For all who are in Jesus must understand that "Time being a vapor" is what we understand to be working against us should get us to a place that every minute counts. This is just another asset of what God did through Barrys Ministry.

I can just hear our Lord welcoming Barry: You good and faithful slave!
What a spirit, what a teacher! It is now 2006 and his teachings become more NOW every day.
I often wondered how Barry could keep going at the pace he set himself, to bring the Good News to this sick and dying world.
In the video that fell into my hands today, it was cleared up to me why, when my exhusband became a Master Mason, the wheels came off for me and my 4 children. That makes it easier to forgive, and pray for the lost souls who join Freemasonery and do not know what they are doing.
Yahweh bless you all who he left behind. Your reunion is now very shortly!

Dear Smith family,
I'm a pastor from the Netherlands. I got my first tapes from brother Smith when I was 17 years old. I realy loved his preaching the things that happened in your lifes. I was realy touched by his ministry. When I went to bible college I met a person from new sealand and he gave me two books from brother Barry. Later on about 7 years ago I saw a video from brisbine Australia were he was teaching and preaching.
now the ministy God gave to me growed and I thought the time is there to invite brother Barry to the Netherlands. So I looked for a website and this is what I found,that he passed away. I feel very sorry for your family.
I don't have a credit card but in the future I bay all his, brother Barry, stuff and I will share it with my leaders and pastors here in the Netherlands.

I often prayed and dreamed that God would preserve Barry so that i could get to meet him in person one day. It's such a shock and empty feeling that I have right now Knowing that I could have met this man who lived on earth the same time that I did but didn't. I will meet you some day old man cause i know exactly where you are; with jesus in heaven, a place where you have lead many to and inspired many to want to be. I salute you General Barry Smith of the army of the Lord.

I visited a Bary Smith meeting in Hampshire some years ago now. It was his book, 'First Warning' which woke me up again to Jesus claims on my life and His perfect sacrifice for my sins. The book was also a useful initial guide to the plans for the New World Order and I have kept up tp date ever since.
Many thanks once again for the life of Barry Smith and his input into many of our lives.

I learnt of Barry's death today when I was doing a google search on old acquaintances. Back in 1992 I had seen a number of Barry's teachings on video while I was at school in England. I was greatly encouraged by his messages. Five years later he came to Zambia and ministered before our government officials. His love for Jesus was unmistakable. I pray that the family will hold on to Jesus.

I saw him speaking a few years ago in England and just today I had been reviewing two of his books and decided to do a web search, to find out that he has gone home. People today are asking questions of world and I have the opportunity to use the literature Barry wrote, not only to discuss the world we live in today but to send the message of our Lord Jesus Christ. He done this so well. Barry is relevant today and will continue to be relevant for generations to come. I Thank God for his ministry, that he was and continues to be an answer to many peoples prayer by bringing them to the Cross.

When i heard the news that Barry smith had died i was at first very suprised cause it was only months ago that i was watching his latest tapes, then i thought of the loss, not for him but for the body of christ and the unsaved. Not many people if any speak about what he spoke about. He was agreat man of god-a true man of god.

Wow! I was saved under Barrys Ministry back in May 89 at the auckland town hall where he was preaching and i am still going for God.
He had a great sense of humour, but also a strong love for the lord and his work.
He will always be remembered in our hearts, thanx Barry.....kia kaha ( be strong )

I'm so sorry about your loss. It was quite a shock when I learned of Barry's death. However I reckon he's in a better place now although his absence will be keenly felt.
I met Barry and your family years ago in Lismore Australia when your were preaching. Every trip you had to Australia I was there and I always spoke to him after the ministry was finished. Barry indirectly shaped my walk and allowed me to see the "bigger" picture in the world.

I just saw a Barry Smith video being broadcast on "Freedom TV" on the internet through a program called Winamp. After watching his video, I felt the need to find out everything I could about this man and the things he knew. I googled his name and found this website, only to find I was too late in a sense. What an amazing man he was. The video I saw was apparently made in 1993, Bill Clinton was still US Pres, Paul Keating was still AUS PM. In my mind the world is a much different place now than it was back then, so for Barry to have the foresight to mention so many things that have happened SINCE the recording of that video, I find him to be truly amazing and his teachings are invaluable. I sure hope Heaven has a broadband connection, Barry's going to need it to keep up with all these messages of love and thanks!!!!I believe Barry was and is a gift sent directly from Jesus.

When I first got saved back in 1992 my wife who also gave her heart to Jesus came running in to our lounge one night she said "Honey you need to come and see this guy ministring his name is Barry Smith I sat there and said "I am trying to deal with this guy Jesus and you want me to see a guy by the name of Smith" well when I finally went to the meeting (due to my wife's persitance) I went along and this man of God just built me up by being himself humorous yet bold,straight to the point concerning God's Word and salvation.Barry help me to relise I can still be me but know that Christ is more real than ever before.I give honor where honor is due and I respect this man of God and the ecourgment he has given to myself and my whole family (FROM THE VUI FAMILY AKA ANGLES IN THE OUTFIELD)
