Hey I am sad that "Barry Smith" died. I heard about him on the High Street in Southampton, England today for the first time and was invited to attend his website. I can only rejoice that he died in the same country that I am living, as it makes me feel as if I had some small part in his death. O'Doyle RULES!!

What a sad loss - When I was a brand new creature in Christ, our church had a speaker coming and I was invited to go and listen, I wasnt even sure of my new status and what I heard that night changed my life forever. I was raised by a very political father and always listened and took an interest from a very early age and God knew that to feed my interest he would include politics into my life and I also in my pre born again days had a huge fascination with fortune tellers, so here I am at the meeting and Barry is talking about world events to come and political leaders and the part they would play - isnt God good!!!I much prefer prophecy and continue to research all the time- thank you

We mourn together with the Smith Family, a Pastor, Bible teacher and friend. I got to know Mr. Barry Smith when he came to Nairobi and gave some talks about the end times. I learnt a lot during that time. I know we will see him and rejoice with him when we get to heaven. Praying for the family for strength and comfort during this difficult time.God bless

I knew Barry in Nairobi Kenya where he used to visit and teach us about end time - For the first time my mind became clear. Through his love of Jesus and his great teachings about what needs to take place to prepare us for the end time, I grew to love Barry and his entire family. I bought books and video tapes. We used to look forward to his visits in Nairobi at the Nairobi Pentecostal Church. He inspired many. I do remember his wife and children. Andrew I remember very well and the daughters. How he loved his family. My family and I mourn for you all. But we love to rejoice that our dear Barry is now in the Master's presence. The ONE he used to preach about with so much love and confidence. We will indeed re-unite at the feet of Jesus.

Barry, Taught me the truth since i where a child of seven years old when my grandad would take me to his meetings. He opened my eye's to a world that turned out to be exactly as he told it. I am now 32 years old and mourn the passing of a great teacher tho im sure he wouldnt want me to mourn.
Thankyou Barry for leading me to the truth of the world and the truth in jesus christ.
Love
Brendon (Ben).

Since attending his services, watching his videos and reading his books in the 90's, I have often wondered what happened to Barry, as his health was failing then already.

I have videos of Barry's messages at Hatfield Christian Church and attended his teachings at Moreletta NG Church in Pretoria. I will always remember him as being passionate about the Gospel and yet his dry sense of humour helped take off the edge of what is to come.

2Ti 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love, his appearing.

God's richest blessing to May and family.

How late did I learn of Barry's departure!!
Only today was I told when lent the videos by my brother...........Barry, you shook me and made me long for the appearing of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ!! Now may the blessing of the same Lord Jesus be upon your family until the time of His Glorious appearing! He who would reign for 3 and a half years will be destroyed by Him who will reign for ever!! Even so, Come Lord Jesus!

Amen.

My deepest sympathy to all the Smith family

on the recent death of Barry, loving husband &

father. He will be greatly missed around

the world, but he has left an enduring and

important legacy in his sermons and books.

His books were and are hugely important in

opening the eyes of a complacent sleeping

world to the impending threat from the

satanic new world order. They also are a

source of great hope in the face of the

tribulation that lies ahead. God knows, we

all will need courage in the times ahead,

and the work Barry has done in informing

and preparing us for the end times will prove

invaluable to us in the great battle.

I wish to belatedly thank him and his family

for all the good work they have done in

this regard, and hopefully will continue to

do for the foreseeable future.

Dear Andrew and May

We have been thinking of Barry a lot lately in view of all that is going on in the world and in our own country (UK), where things which would have been unthinkable until recently are now common-place, and laws which stood our nation in good stead for generations, being based on God's Law, are being overturned and substituted by man made laws which are the very opposite of that which we have known. Just the things Barry said would happen!

Thinking of you as you must still miss him, but rejoicing that today he is enjoying the Glory with his Saviour.

With best wishes
Gordon & Jean Reid

I have been saddened with news of the death of Barry Smith. My family and I are drawing a lot of inspiration from his video tapes down here in Zimbabwe. We have been separated from a fearless teacher of the word of God. I say separated because we hope to see him again if we remain in the LORD Jesus Christ.

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I would like to send my condolences towards the Smith Family, whose father, Barry Smith passed away two years ago. I heard from a fellow member of the organization that we both are a part of, that Mr. Smith inspired the founder of our group, & infact while he visited New Zealand, he would always come to Mr. Smith's sermons, & learn from him.

Since I only heard this statement from my fellow member, I don't know if this actually happened or not. But I realise that Mr. Smith did influence some people, especially the congregation of the Ministry which he founded. May the Lord bless him for the works he did, & I hope that the Smith family will also accomplish this spiritual laboring like their father. God bless you all.

Dear Andrew, May and family.

Two years have now passed, yet I still feel it hard to believe that he has gone, but god's work must go on.

God blessings to the Smith Family

In memory of Barry Smith - (a true Ambassador for Christ)

A man of God, a man of love,
Never failing to seek guidance from above.

A man of courage, a man of belief
And through God’s ministry, he gave us relief

Although Barry’s message was often stark,
He had good reason, ‘don’t take the Mark’!

Despite opposition, Barry did not fail,
As he led people down the ‘sawdust trail’

As his love for God he continually displayed
Countless people have now been saved,
As the Lamb’s Book of Life captured their names
Expounding God’s word from the Bible…King James

Barry was clear and did not mumble,
His greatest strength came from being humble

He wasn’t scared to do what was right
With Jesus beside him, he did ‘fight the Good Fight’

Although it was tough, as he challenged the wrong
He shrugged it off with a Jesus song

He made us aware of the world and the signs
As he dutifully published the Omega Times

We will not forget his passion for souls
Nor his love for the world as he travelled the globe
With only John 3:30 on his mind
His thoughts were only to help mankind

As he showed the world his Final Notice
He didn’t lose sight and kept his focus

Soul after soul he won for God
Driven by his Love for Jesus, our Lord

Don’t be dismayed and set off alarms
For although he is not with us
He is now safe in His arms

Romans 8:28

Yours in Christ

Brian Whyte – London, England
