Only eternity will reveal the extent of the Lord's work through his servant Barry.
I can picture the Lord Jesus giving Barry a big hug and saying "Well done thou good and faithful servant"
The Lord Bless you all at this time.

Heaven has just received a GIANT in the faith! Our nation will miss this great evangelist. I have met so many over the years that have been saved in a Barry Smith End Times meeting and they were still going on for the Lord. This has got to be one of Barry's greatest tests of fruit - so many saved that have stayed saved!
We pray that God will bless May and the family with the "oil of joy for mourning".
God bless you

Barry was a great man of God. He was always an inspiration to me and to everybody else. On the occasions in which I preached with him I found him to be straight down the line. He never hesitated to tell the truth as it was. He was always entirely sincere, genuine and a great friend.
I praise God for such a faithful witness through Barry and thank God for him. Pat and I extend our condolences to May and the family and pray they will know God's presence with them throughout the coming days. May God bless them richly.

It is with shock and utter dismay to have heard of Barry's calling home. Our love, prayer and support go to the family at this time. Barry was an inspiration to us all, a watchman, a friend who will be deeply missed.

To the Smith Family
This is the day that the Lord has made so that we will rejoice and be glad in it. Barry has been a great MAN OF GOD and has been used by God in many different ways to fulfill God's plans in the lives of many Samoans. Faafetai le lototele.
To May & the kids:
Barry has left his footprints in our hearts everytime he shared the word of God. Even though we can't feel your pain, but we can share your sorrows. Always rejoice in the Lord!

Dearest May, Andrew & Family,
We are really sad that we will not see Barry again, until we see him in heaven, he was a very special friend of ours, you may remember us May, Barry, you and some of the family, stayed with us when we had The Mokoia Motel in Rotorua, Barry just appeared one day, you could say I heard him coming in the family Pick-up truck, all 100 cylinders of it.
We will miss Barry , he was a unique man of The lord. I gave my life to The Lord at one of Barry's meetings in Auckland in 1994. He will be missed, never forgotten, loved in death, as in life, yet we know in our hearts that now HE IS HOME.
May, it was a blessing to encounter Barry, thousands of people have given their lives To Our Lord, as a result of his ministry and the work done through The Omega Times outreach.
Our prayers are with you May, and the family at this time. Your loss is ours too, we loved him very much.
With much love,
Phil & Karen May.

We send our love to May and family at the home-going of Uncle Barry. What an impact he has had to so many in NZ and around the world. So many lives changed by the Gospel being presented clearly to them, and by the character of a man true to what he spoke of. There will be incredible rejoicing in Heaven right now.
All our love, S & W

What is success? - Knowing that what I did made a difference in the lives of others. Barry - Thank you for making the biggest difference that any one can ever have in their life time- helping me to invite Jesus into my heart 12 yrs ago. I am a life that was changed by your success.
There is an ache inside that cannot be described, memories that flood, glimpses of things you have done and said, the outrageous jokes you told, and the stories, even though often repeated always sparked uproar. Your zeal, a sudden burst of song in Samoan during your teachings, your no fuss, no nonsense approach...lots of questions...but a peace non the less knowing that you are with our father...I imagine that there is a hall of fame in heaven where your picture hangs which says – Bary Smith- a man who cared enough.
Will miss your funny ways alofa tele Naomi

We were shocked to hear the news. Barry had such a unique ministry. We respected his integrity and "telling it straight" attitude. He was a man of courage and conviction who will be sorely missed in this Nation. He cannot be replaced because his was a unique calling that he threw himself into 150%. He always ended articles and teaching about the End Times with the encouragement that we are not to fear, we will be with the Lord. He turned our eyes back to Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. And now he's seeing Him and we're sure Barry has heard the words "Well done, good and faithful servant!!"

Dear Barry,
You helped remind us all that the flesh is part of a lesson, we live, learn and move on into the spirit world, some to eternal life/joy and some to eternal death.
Thank you, we shall see you home one day,
Sarah

I remember meeting Barry for the first time during one of his many visits to Port Macquarie. I loved his teaching as it was so easy to understand and Barry himself was such a 'real' person. Not interested in fame & fortune, just an incredible desire to see people come to faith in Jesus.
I so appreciate that teaching as it has been foundational to so much of what I believe and has made learning and understanding scripture easy. I met up with Andrew & Saskia Smith at the UCB Int. conference earlier this year in New Zealand and I wish to pass on now my sincere condolences to them both as well as the rest of the family. Remember it's never "Goodbye" it's "See ya later".
My prayers are with you all, God bless you.
