Dear Andrew, May, Saskei, Becky, Keith, Larry
et al.

Greetings in Jesus.

We have placed an obituary for Barry on our web site.

Please accept my profound condolences on behalf of all at Moriel. Barry is of course at home with Jesus but are prayers are with you.

I spoke with the Moriel fellowship in Cheshire, UK where Barry preached his final four sermons.
The leaders of the fellowship told me that Barry had left ill and told Apollo that he was going home to be with The Lord very shortly (sniffing Kyan pepper etc.).

I am in the USA and was not present, but we are honoured that Barry's final sermon was preached at an outreach that our ministry organized and hosted. You may be interested to know that Brother Barry "went in the saddle". His final sermon on Saturday was described to be by Malcom & Steve as truly awesome. His swan song was his best.

I will try to ring you.
Sadly I am really booked up and cannmot make the funeral, but Nigel from Moriel NZ will likely represent us.

In Jesus,

Jacob

Dear May and Family,

I was, and still am, so deeply shocked and sad to hear the news of Barry's sudden death. I can say that your sadness and sorrow in missing him is genuinely shared with countless others around the world whom he touched and inspired. I am already missing him very much. I first heard Barry's teaching through his former videos 'The Money Crash' and 'World Government Parts 1 and 2'. The Lord called me as an evangelist too and I was priviledged and blessed to be able to use Barry's videos and teaching. His videos and meetings were instrumental in leading many of my family to Christ and inspiring and maturing the other members. I have since attended all Barry's meetings in London, England because I found him to be one of the very few servants of God who was truly humble and speaking the TRUTH with no self-interest whatsoever. It was very apparent in all his ministry that he was a man who neither wanted glory or popularity. He sincerely sought to glorify His Master in peoples hearts and lives and was indeed genuine and honest. Consistently, over many years, I have found Barry to be both balanced and mature as an ambassador for Christ. His gifted knowledge and insight into the truth he taught, together with his unique sense of humour made it a pleasure to tell and take people to hear him. God has granted me a generous proportion of spiritual discernment and I find that many 'servants' nowadays (in my personal experience) are trying to build little 'power-houses' around themselves under the guise of ministry. For this reason, I can honestly say that it is only Barry Smith whom I have been able to eagerly and enthusiastically go to hear.

I cannot express the gratefulness I feel in my heart for God giving us Christians and the world such a servant as Barry Smith. Thank you May and children for being the support he needed in order to be so faithful to Him who called and also for sharing him! We truly lack now, but I pray that God will raise up others like Barry. I feel quite empty inside.

God Bless you my Brother - we will all be with you soon!

I know all Heaven is rejoicing now as Barry is being told by The King Himself "Well done, thou good and faithful servant.."!!!

My love and prayers,

Clare x

PS: Please do keep me informed of your plans concerning continuance of Barry's faithful ministry.

Barry continues to be such an inspiration to us all.He is the evangilists evangelist. He has pioneered a ministry whose fruit will remain.
His love of Gods word and passion for life was evident in his ministry. He has left a great legacy and at the same time a challenge to us all.
If only there where more Barry Smiths in this world.

Our thoughts and Prayers to May and the family.

We are saddened by the news of Barry's death but at the same time delighted that he is with His Lord. In our opinion, if ever anyone deserved the greeting "well done, thy good and faithful servant", its Barry.

Thank you to the Smith family for selflessly sharing Barry with us all.

May God comfort you in your grief.

Dear May & Family,

Barbara and I were glad to get Barry's 9/11 update tape in the mail today, little realising the email that would come later this evening. We have followed Barry's work as a family for many years, and count you as our special friends, though we have never met. Such is the bond of God's Word.

The thought crossed my mind tonight, who was the "last" person, that Barry shook hands with and said, "Welcome to the Family of God!"?

Not the "last" though, as the messages he produced are still reaping souls for the Kingdom, and will continue to do so right until the end. So, though Barry is no longer in our midst, Jesus whom he served will see to it that the flame remains burning.

Your friends in Christ Jesus,

Shane & Barbara Hammond

To Aunty May and family,
So sorry to hear of your great loss today, and
not only your loss but that of the whole Christian world.
Barry's teaching on the family
was based on your own familys lessons and we have
always remembered and cherised them. We have
appreciated his wisdom on a variety of subjects
and remember the warmth and welcome of his personality.
It was always refreshing to meet a leader who was not full of his own importance, and humble in his
greatness.

Love to you all from the Fowler family

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Barry. We are very grateful for his ministry which had an affect on our lives. We wish to thank the family for backing up Barry over the years of his ministry as without that support he wouldnt have been able to touch the people that he had.

Our loss is Heaven's gain, what a privilege it has been to have sat under Barry's ministry. His graciousness was a testimony of God's love.

A servant that will be greatly missed.

Our love to May and the family.

To May, the children and the Smith family,
We are so sad to hear the news about Barry. Talofa e i le uo pele. Last year he came to our church three times (a record for any guest speaker). He always says to come down and visit him.

May and the family, we really love you and we are all praying for you. You are always part of us and we will continue the relationship even thought Mr. SIMITI is gone. Again we really love you. Praise God he is with Jesus.

I said to Helen, I wish Barry can send us a letter (not a email because he doesn't know how to use the computer)from heaven. I bet you he must be entertaining everyone up there with his funny jokes.

Our prayers is that God will raise up another Barry Smith to continue the end time message.

Hopefully we will see you all at the funeral service

Love

To May, Andrew and The Smith Family,

We could send "condolences" like everyone
else, but we would like to say how much we
appreciate the teaching ministry of Barry
Smith, & the support your whole family gave
him as he clocked up the miles & years teaching
simply the seemingly complicated topic of World
Events & the Last Days. He was a watchman on the
walls, warning all who would listen, by tapes,
books & public lectures. Now he has graduated,
& I hope we the Class of the Smith Academy, do
him proud. He always taught us the Heavenly Hope,
so that world events would not leave us paralyzed
with fear, & we look forward to seeing him, & all
of you, at the "School Reunion."

Meet him once it was like you always knew him, instant friendship.

Jesus lived big in Barry.

The greatest impact in my life were his teachings on being a husband & father.

Thank you for releasing him to travel the world & being the basis of so much of his teaching. He truly joyed in sharing how much you loved each other... & especially Jesus.

Andrew and the Smith family,
Tears in my eyes, yes, but with great joy in my heart as I write this at the news of the translation of our loved brother Barry. A great warrior, teacher, evangelist, the engine that runs on water, humorous to the hilt - yet forthright and straight to the point.

He helped restore my family, taught me how to care and at the time of confusion lead me to the right way. My family and I will miss him but not for too long. We will continue to remember you in our prayers.
Uche

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.

We are ecnouraged to live for God more than ever before, knowing that as we praise him and serve him, we stand before the same throne that Brother Barry is standing before even now, and we are part of the same praises that our brother is singing even now for our praises and the praises of those that have gone before us come before the Lord as one voice - this is our joy.

We love you all, and although this is a time of sadness, we know that your present greif will be turned to joy unspeakable and full of Glory.
